The Hocking County Board of Developmental Disabilities (DD) receives funding from local property taxes, as well as state and federal sources. Approximately 68% of our funding comes from the voters of Hocking County, making it the largest source of revenue. The remaining funds are provided by state and federal government sources, which must be used in accordance with specific rules and regulations. This funding supports a variety of programs and services for community members, including Medicaid waiver services, Early Intervention, Home Visitation Programs like Help Me Grow, and Family Support.

We are dedicated to being fiscally responsible and transparent with our spending. Our goal is to manage funds wisely to maintain the quality of services for the communities in Hocking County. We are committed to investing in the future of our county to help residents live their best lives.
