Service and Support Administration (SSA)

A Service and Support Administrator (SSA) plays a vital role in coordinating services for individuals with developmental disabilities. SSAs serve as the primary point of contact for individuals and their families, guiding them through the person-centered planning process. They assess needs, identify goals, and develop individualized service plans (ISPs) that outline supports and services tailored to each person’s unique strengths and preferences. SSAs also monitor service delivery, ensure health and welfare, and connect individuals to community resources and natural supports, promoting independence and quality of life.
